Dec 31, 2020 Stock futures hint at a positive end to 2020 Stock futures trended flat to slightly positive as the market prepares for the final trades of 2020. Investors hope to cap off a volatile year with positive gains and set up the new year for a bullish run. Despite the lingering impact of the ongoing pandemic, stocks are looking to continue a bewilderingly profitable year. Still, some investors are concerned that the market remains unhitched from the overall economy.
