Here's what voters think Image Source: Summit News In the run-up to the midterm elections, a recent poll conducted by CBS News Battleground Tracker and YouGov found that a staggering 79 percent of Americans believe that the country is "out of control." Only 21 percent of respondents indicated that they had the impression that things are "under control," and when the other 79 percent were asked which party they will vote for, the majority of respondents (58 percent) stated Republican, while only 34 percent said they will vote Democrat. The survey also found that 73 percent of respondents think things are "going badly," with 42 percent saying things are very bad, while only 26 percent say things are going well, with 6 percent saying things are "very well." The survey also indicated that there is a significant shift occurring among independent voters toward supporting the Republican Party.
