At this minute, I'm researching all of this. It's intelligence every investor should have... 1. I'm investigating Trump's "announcement" of an OPEC+ (OPEC plus Russia) cut in crude oil production. Frankly, my Russian, Saudi, Persian Gulf, and European fiduciary contacts are livid. There was apparently no conversation among the principals along the lines put forward -proclaimed - by the White House. The OPEC+ emergency meeting called shortly thereafter has been delayed until at least the end of this week. 2. Anecdotal information from contacts already points to the possibility that some American producers will use "novel booking methods" to claim "phantom barrels" of production "cuts." 3. At the same time, I'm analyzing a new trove of data detailing the COVID-19 effect on global energy demand. Indications emerged on Friday that a floor may have been reached with a rise beginning in Asia.
