Dear Wall Street Insights & Indictments Reader,

A service I don't normally offer is "Bitcoin Basics," but with the JPM Coins being announced last week, the wave of comments I've gotten asking for clarification on what exactly cryptocurrency is has been nothing short of overwhelming.

Basically, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency based on blockchain technology. The "crypto" prefix in cryptocurrency comes from cryptography, the practice and study of techniques for secure communication in the presence of third parties.

"Blockchain" is a decentralized ledger in which a continuously growing list of records (blocks) are linked, secured, and distributed across networks of computers.

That's just the basic explanation, and even then, it's still a little technical - and I really couldn't fit it all in one email.

My friend Michael A. Robinson, who knows everything about everything about bitcoin, thinks that we're at the forefront of a massive cryptocurrency upward spiral - meaning you should start learning about cryptocurrency - and soon.

In this special interview with our Executive Publisher, Michael talks about what the coming cryptocurrency surge could do for your wallet - and shows you a bit of the basics along the way.

Meanwhile, here's how our premium subscribers spent their week...

Learn How to Play These Loser Stocks to Win

Like I told you on Friday, sometimes the best moneymaking opportunities lie in the stocks of companies that have about a million red flags that everyone seems to ignore. At Zenith Trading Circle, we don't always bet on companies that are set up to be the next Apple or Amazon - we look at the deadbeats of Wall Street, the has-been stocks that are fizzling out like the final embers of a campfire. There's a ton of money to be made on these losers, and I'll show you just how to do it... [I think you're going to like what we do here.]

If the Market Stalls, This Stock Could Slip

Similar to my Zenith approach, we don't tiptoe around crappy stocks at The Money Zone either. This week, using a potentially lucrative trade type called a "hyper trade," (I told you about it yesterday), we're targeting an overbought stock that I believe could be skidding to a stop sooner than everyone else thinks it will. My hyper trade method's already given readers the chance to snag six double-digit winners this year already, so things are looking positive... [I drop a new recommendation like this every week.]

JP Morgan Will Start Using Crypto for This $6 Trillion Business

It was bound to happen sooner or later - a major U.S. bank stepping into the blockchain technology sector in a big way. And, according to Michael A. Robinson, it'll bring more and more investors into the space who'll help send prices soaring. Michael told his readers this week that it makes a lot of sense when you consider that blockchain tech is well-suited to undergird a hefty portion of the $8 trillion in global transactions. The tech's speed, security and ability to maintain an immutable ledger of transactions makes it ideally suited for this sector... [And it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.]

The Power of Patient Investing

The main problem with investing today is that a lot of investors want huge gains in small amounts of time - and sometimes, that's just not possible. Patience is a virtue, especially in investing, and Michael A. Robinson is a champion for that approach - because it can be hugely profitable. Just this week, readers of Radical Technology Profits had the chance to grab 41.65% gains on a long-held and lucrative position... [Full Story]

Please Note: Any performance results described herein are not based on actual trading of securities but are instead based on a hypothetical trading account which entered and exited the suggested positions in securities at the times and prices referenced. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results that may subsequently be achieved. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, hypothetical trading examples cannot possibly take into account the impact of liquidity or buyer and seller demand, and do not allow for slippage and associated trading costs and concerns. One must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the markets. One should never trade with money that one cannot afford to lose, and one must accept that there will be losses, and one must be able to sustain these losses, both from a financial as well as an emotional perspective.
