Republicans And Democrats Agree That Cannabis Is Essential
Dear Reader,
During the spread of the coronavirus, state officials have been deciding which businesses need to stay open.
Currently, medical marijuana dispensaries in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, and Massachusetts have all been deemed essential.
To see what everyone thinks of cannabis being deemed essential, market research firm YouGov recently asked a simple question - "Do you believe medical marijuana dispensaries should or should not be considered essential services?"
The results showed that 53% of respondents believed medical cannabis dispensaries should be considered essential.
In fact, no matter the political party of the respondent, the overwhelming result was that people felt medical cannabis should be considered an essential service.
 Being able to cross party lines is encouraging for legalization efforts across the country.
