| Dear Reader,
A few days ago, I told you about how my role a senior advisor and board member for Silicon Valley venture capital firms put me in the room at the start of the $160 billion a year cloud computing industry.
In fact, I've spent more than 35 years kicking around Silicon Valley.
After all, that's where most of America's ground-floor trends have kicked off over the last half-century or so.
So in addition to our focuses on legal marijuana and cryptocurrencies - the current moment's two biggest ground-floor opportunities - we'll also be looking for big gains coming out of Silicon Valley and other tech hot spots around the globe here at Strategic Tech Investor.
There's a lot of excitement here in my neck of the woods about the Internet of Everything... driverless cars... virtual and augmented reality... drones... social media... and dozens more tech trends.
And the millions of dollars that investors are making thanks to them. One of my biggest Silicon Valley heroes is Ray Kurzweil. He's the director of engineering at Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOGL) and, more famously, the mind behind the "Singularity" concept.
Kurzweil has pushed the boundaries of innovation for more than five decades. As a teenager, he created a groundbreaking computer program that could play classical music and netted him an appearance on the TV game show "I've Got a Secret."
He hasn't stopped thinking and innovating since then. Among others gadgets, he invented omni-font optical character recognition, flatbed scanners, text-to-speech programs, and artificial intelligence for trading the markets.
Now a director of engineering at Google, Kurzweil may be best known for his prediction that in the near future man and machine will become intertwined in an event he calls "The Singularity."
Kurzweil published the book The Singularity Is Near in 2005. In it, he imagined a science fiction-like world in which humans and computers fuse. As technology accelerates at an exponential rate, he pointed out, progress would eventually become virtually instantaneous - a Singularity.
Further, he predicted that computers would merge with genomics, nanotechnology, and robotics, making that singularity possible.
At the time, Kurzweil's ideas seemed outlandish. Today - despite the advances we've seen in artificial intelligence and biotechnology - they still seem pretty eccentric. However, technology does seem to be accelerating faster than ever before.
While I've run into Kurzweil at networking events, we've never had the chance to have a real conversation. But I hope to do so one day.
You see, ever since hearing the Rolling Stones as a young boy over a transistor radio, I've dreamed of the possibilities of technology.
Where We're Going From Here
And Kurzweil's Singularity concept - that one day we will all be "uplifted" into the internet and computers - would truly be the ultimate fulfillment of those dreams.
I truly believe that being "uplifted" is God's plan for us - and that it will happen soon, if not within our own lifetimes.
Now concepts like Singularity can be disconcerting.
I get that.
In fact, a lot of what's coming out of Silicon Valley is causing a lot of fear. That's because artificial intelligence, robotics, and related technologies are threatening to erase millions of jobs in the coming years.
Maybe even your job - or the job of one of your kids or someone else you love.
That's why I've put together this special report - The Jobless Future Is Coming.
In it, put together some numbers to see exactly how many jobs we're talking about.
And I try to explain exactly what's going on - technology-wise.
But it's not all "gloom and doom." You see, these rapidly developing technologies may be decimating the globe's workforce, but they're also investment opportunities.
With that in mind, I've dug up three ways you can "play" the Jobless Future to create an outrageous fortune for yourself and the generations that will follow.
To get it, just click here.
Before I go, I wanted to make sure I shared this crucial profit opportunity regarding a tiny Silicon Valley company that made an earth-shattering announcement...
They recently reported that they received FCC approval for a revolutionary new device that does something many people had previously thought impossible - something that, until now, only existed in science fiction.
But this new device is the real deal, and the technology behind it is about to blow your mind (see for yourself here).
Even The Washington Times says the technology behind the device, "will change the world on a scale hardly seen in human history."
You won't want to miss out - click here for more information.
Cheers and good investing,
 Michael A. Robinson
