Dec 30, 2020 Stocks trend higher after Tuesday's losses Stocks rose slightly on Wednesday as the market tried to reclaim record highs in the final days of 2020 after losses at Tuesday's close.   The major averages closed lower on Tuesday, giving up early gains that pushed stocks to record highs at the opening bell.
