If you place 10 trades, the odds are slim that you're going to win all of them. If you simply tossed a coin to determine the direction of those trades, you would probably win about half of them and lose on the other half. But if you can learn a sequence, technique or pattern that helps to predict future market movement even to a small degree, you can begin to put the odds in your favor.
