Well, it used to be every few years. These days it's every other week.
However, new developments, new technologies, and new efficiency is met with much excitement.
Take the energy industry, for example. Renewable energy has been the "new kid on the block" for years, but that doesn't stop new ideas from flowing into the market.
Like using algae as a source of biobased renewables. Algae "discoveries" were at one point touted as the next major biofuel source. I'd be introduced to new advances so frequently that I would refer to them as my "algae of the week."
So, it's not hard to drum up excitement for new ideas and developments.
Newest on the list is a technology that could allow drillers to access crude oil that was previously inaccessible, in the deepest parts of the Earth's crust.
And trust me, I'm not the only one who's excited about it.
In fact, there are dozens of high-profile, Fortune 500 companies that are lining up to get their hands on it.
If you'd like to take advantage of the anticipation, just click here to learn all about it.
In the meantime, check out what else has been going on this week below...
| | | | A Sour Feeling After the Saudi Attacks | This week was a bit quieter than last, at least in the energy world. While the geopolitical world is as chaotic as ever, there were no more attacks on any oil fields, so that's certainly an improvement. However, the aftermath of the Saudi oil attacks is extremely volatile. The state of global oil supply, particularly regarding sour crude, is raising some concern. I've been watching the situation closely, as well as the increasing prevalence of renewable energy. Details right here...
| | | | | Two New Algorithm Moves and a Review of All Energy Inner Circle Options Plays | Action Alert: My Σ Algorithm trading system signaled two moves for my Energy Inner Circle readers. In each case, the move is an options straddle, with both the calls and puts In the Money (ITM) or very Near the Money (NTM). With the energy sector in the state it's in, these two plays have the potential to be quite profitable. In addition, I provided my readers with a complete review of all the options plays in the Model Portfolio. Check it out right here...
