TOP STORIES Source: All That's Interesting It seems that Russia thought "winning" in Ukraine would be easy, but it's already come at a great cost to them.
After Moskva, the flagship of Russia's Black Sea Fleet was destroyed, they aren't taking any more chances. And they aren't leaving any options off the table.
According to one naval analyst, Russia is now resorting to putting trained dolphins to work to protect their Black Sea Kremlin naval base.
Satellite images indicate that this is fact and not fiction, because they've now spotted two water pens at the entrance to Sevastopol harbor in Crimea — which Russian forces annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
Those pens seem to have been located there back in February, at about the same time the Russian invasion began.

As the beachgoer looked on in awe, a marine biologist, Dr. Bridie Allan just happened to be nearby and joined in on the investigation. Dr. Allan immediately recognized the creature as a rare oarfish, which is a deep-sea creature.
The oarfish unfortunately died, but Dr. Allan suggested it was at the end of its life because she and others tried to help it swim back into the ocean, but it struggled and was unable to move much without floating back to the surface.
